I began my floristry and events training as assistant to the society florist Kevin O'Neill, and held this role for over 14 years. During this time I was involved with many major events throughout Australia. After Kevin's death, this seemed like the right time to start something for myself, and so began Leigh Clark Events.
Along with my partner we have owned and operated our business since 1999. The majority of our business is floristry, but are often required to expand this decoration into many other components for an event, such as drapery, linen hire, total event concept design and the list goes on.
During this time we have undertaken events for many major companies in Melbourne and quite a few interstate. We do not limit ourselves to just highend events, where we seem to have a fairly solid reputation, but are happy doing any events from small dinner parties, to events for 2000 or more. We have decorated events for hundreds such as luncheons for HRH Queen Elizabeth to intimate dinner parties for two. We are basically known for our individualism and our ability to connect, and do what the client wants, not what we want, but are always there as a guide for those that need assistance.
